Indiana Office of Tourism Development Grant Information & Application

The Indiana Office of Tourism Development (IOTD, Indiana Tourism) offers matching grants to cities, towns, counties and nonprofit entities located in Indiana that are involved with tourism promotion and development. Projects that contribute to the development and improvement of local economies and communities throughout Indiana by means of enhancing, expanding and promoting the visitor industry are eligible to receive funding.

Place Based Investment Fund Information:

The PBIF program is a competitive matching grant program administered as a partnership between the Office of Community and Rural Affairs and the Indiana Office of Tourism Development that supports community and economic development projects across the state. Initiatives that promote quality of life, improve tourism experiences and develop multi-purpose gathering places are specifically targeted for this grant program.

2018 Will Koch Leadership and Hoosier Hospitality Awards

Will Koch Indiana Tourism Leadership Award Nomination Form

Named after the late Will Koch, long-time owner and president of Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari and chief executive officer of its parent company, Koch Development Corporation, the award honors Mr. Koch’s devotion to business and community and his lasting impact on the State of Indiana. A deserving Hoosier who demonstrates the following qualities will receive the award each year.

  • Leadership qualities and ability to inspire others;
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to invest in Indiana;
  • Commitment to tourism and business development in Indiana;
  • Dedication to improve Indiana’s travel and tourism profile; and
  • Distinguished service to community.

Hoosier Hospitality Award Nomination Form

These awards are presented by the Lt. Governor and recognize a high level of service in tourism-related jobs at hotels, restaurants, attractions and other destinations. This includes tour guides, volunteers, ushers, etc. ANYONE in the hospitality and tourism industry.
